Screenlocking?

Hiya all,

Just got my P800 this morning, pretty impressed so far. I've already removed the keypad and set it to virtual flip as it looks much better, and many people have said it's a lot better.

Only thing is, it never seems to lock itself, even once the screensaver has come on. It's a bit of a pain to always have to bring up the keypad, then use the jog dial to lock it.

Is there a quicker way, or some setting I've missed???

Many thanks

Jamie

You can set it to auto lock when the virtual flip (or the real flip of course) is activated. Tap the phone icon at the top. In the 'Edit' menu choose 'Preferences'. Choose 'Locks'. At the bottom check 'Automatic key lock'.
Done!

I have the same problem and I put a check mark on the Automatic key lock but it will not lock unless I bring up the keypad.

Any help?

Buy HandyDay 2.5. It has a screenlock, it will work with the flip removed. You can download a trial at www.my-symbian.com

Yeah, This is the only thing that is currently really annoying me. The virtual keyflip is damn fiddly when you want to quickly lock/unlock the screen, i want a proggie that will let me assign the screen lock to one of the side buttons :<

Oh, and it needs to be Freeware of course, coz i dont see the point in spending cash on a bloated piece of software when all i want is to reassign a key :/
