3 message beeps, but no messages?

I just enabled GPRS on my Orange account, and within about 2 minutes of putting the phone down my phone made 3 seperate "message received" beeps.

When I checked the phone it said I had received 3 messages. I clicked "View", but there was nothing there. On the screen that shows the SMS messages received, it was just the ones I had already read. There were no new messages on the Auto Setup, Area Info, or other folders either. I had no new messages at all.

So, what the hell just happened?

(My phone now says "GPRS: Attached" at the bottom, so clearly something happened)

I also haven't got a "Orange GPRS" entry on my "Internet accounts", I assume that will follow later. (I lost all my entries when I reformatted my internal disk)

They were SIM updates mate - they get saved to the sim card, so you'll probably have to scroll all the way down to the end of your messages list to see them; messages on SIM card have a picture of a SIM card by them instead of the envelope icon, in the P800 inbox. You can delete them, and in fact i suggest you do delete or move all messages from your SIM card to your handset - speeds up the phone when opening the inbox, if there are no messages on the SIM.

and about the GPRS ATTACHED this is normal it should say that, it's mean that your network provider support GSM and GPRS.
