Mini connectivity problem

I have everything working well on my mini but i am having no success getting any of the 3 SSH clients that I've found working. Since the error is the same on each of the three I am sure it's not the clients but something else.

Any SSH client I've tried gives me a -34 error which is 'failed to connect'. What am I missing in the setup that will allow any of the SSH clients to use the connection?

Also this is an RM553. I've never seen that model referred to in any postings?

Help..........

I've gone thru every option on the phone and can't find a thing. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can resolve this?

could be your operator blocking ssh ports, and not the phone itself? try port forwarding on the ssh host and see if that works?
