RM553 upgrade?

HI Jeff,

I would guess that NSU will be your best bet for updating the phone's FW, other updates ( eg Nokia Maps ) can be done OTA.

Where in the world are you? Most handsets I've heard about are RM505 with varying product codes - have you checked with any local Nokia Care Centre's , they might be able to advise, and if it's an unbranded sim free handset, they will be able to update it for you.

Otherwise, might be worth asking the question on Nokia's Discussion Boards.

Check your code again mate!

What model of phone do you have?

What is your product code?

The only RM codes for the Nokia N97 that I know of are RM 505, 506 and 507.

I'm is the US and I bought this unlocked from Dell. I checked again and the code is correct.

I didn't mention this is a mini as I thought the model would ID it. Sorry about that.
