Pls my help: my N95 8GB keep switching itself off — Nokia N95 and N95 8GB

I changed my N95 8GB flex cable recently since then ma phone always switch itself off after some time esp if i play music for 6mins or browse for 5mins. Without this, it stays like an hour then it switches itself off. Could it be that de new flex cable is not original and do not match ma phone? Apart from this problem ma phone works normal. Pls what do i do? 2nd. Could it be dat my firmware is outdated? My phone data is V 20.0.016 28-02- 08 RM-320 Nokia N95 (08.01). how do i upgrade this? Thanks immensely

Nothing to do with the firmware. May be due to some conflicts in flash mem.
You may reset your phone, soft reset *#7780# or hard reset *#7370#
These resets will wash away your contents so backup your phone before proceeding.

I am having a similar issue. I have 2 batteries. Both are BL-5F One has a green hologram and the other is red (not sure if that means anything) One battery (green logo) hold a charge longer than the other, the phone switches off with both but more with the red logo battery.
Could it just be a battery life issue.
