Problems with countrycode?

4 replies · 1,831 views · Started 18 March 2003

I've suddently had problems with sending sms when the country code is included in the telephonenumber.
At the same time, when I get incomming calls it don't show who in my contact list who is calling, only the number.

Anyone?

this problem needs closer look.
Are you in another country or areacode ?

For problem #2 - did you create your contact with country code-areacode or simply the number ? If the callerid does not match with the telephone number in the contact, it will display the number.

...guess it wasn't the countrycodes afterall...suddenly I couldn't send sms at all. So I had to do a "major reset"

I had problem with the phonebook. When I transferred my number to the P800 it remove the "+" sign from the number. I normally store numbers with the "+" sign followed by the country code. When I tried to call gave me an invalid number message.

I always use "+" on my contacts. The sync. program faithfully have transferred all my contacts with "+" followed by country code.

Give examples ?
