I have a slingbox located in the UK.
During the installation, the phone warns already that the software may not work. When connecting to watch TV, an error message says that there is a problem connecting or one should check that the Sling Player is connected.
I can watch SKY TV remotely from my laptop. SlingMedia used to work perfectly on my N95.
Is there anyone owing an N97, whose symbian version of Slingmedia actually work?
Slingplayer has not been developed for S60 v.5
I've got an N97 and have been waiting for ages, but I don't think it's going to happen. Haven't seen any third party apps that work either, think it's because Slingmedia use a form of encryption on the stream.
Bit of a downer! A lot of customers in the USA have been switching to HAVA boxes which apparently have a player that works on the N97 and 5800. Can't get them in the UK though.
