The version 031.012 firmware for the Nokia E55 has just been released. This brings the E55 up to date with with E52, which had the same version firmware released earlier this month. Updated to the latest firmware and everything has been working great. Been using the new firmware for 3 days solid and I am just about to charge the phone for the first time.
No more freezes or random reboots.
Updated OTA then a factory reset *#7370#
Only bug I have found so far is if you use the dial pad and key in numbers really quickly there is serious lag. This is only effecting the numeric keys 0-9.
for example try and press 00000000 really quickly if you have key tones on it sounds horrible. It eventually catches up and then you see all your 0's you typed in very odd.
This is the only real problem I am having with this release.
Call quality remains the same.
Feels a lot snappier maybe it because nothing is installed.
Bluetooth seems better now I sync with macs
When I loose reception not often it seems to pick it up a lot quicker now than it did on previous firmware.
