There is also an application called Safety Deposit Box, I think I got it from Ovi, can't remember, might have ben from Handango site. I works a little differently to the other 'secure' apps llike those you keep credit card details in.

Basically, you import files into this SDB, so can be anything, like pics, video, notes, activenotes etc. Once they are in the SDB, they cannot be viewed at all. You set your own password to get into SDB.

However, to view the 'protected' file, you then have to export if back into the main folders it came from, so tou cannot actually view the protected files directly in SDB.

The app costs around a tenner IIRC.

X-Plore works technically the same way as Y-Browser does . BTW you can also hide complete folders .
Using X-Plore is a little easier , because of shortcuts (AND build-in viewer , audio- and videoplayer) :
- Press G or 0 for viewing hidden folders c.q. files
- Press T to un/hide folders or files - for viewing in Gallery

Install the free version , when you are not be able to pay :

Zip completely hides the files from Gallery , not from Filemanager . X-Plore is a very nice app to view zip files as well .
