Help C Drive Memory

The main thing that eats mine is Nokia Messaging - I'm not sure if you can change any settings (don't have my N97 currently to check) but that was constantly consuming C drive for me. A quick uninstall of the application then getting it again from the SW Update app gives you all the space back.

set your messages to be stored on the E drive

message settings

caveat: if you plug in your phone with the cable and choose mass storage, you have to redo the messaging settings once you exit mass storage mode

I did have that set, text messages were definitely stored on E cos I got unbelievably annoyed with the fact it reset every time it had been connected to my PC, but the emails in Nokia Messaging still seemed to eat up space. I think it might have been storing attachment downloads on C or something?
My phones with Nokia getting the screen fixed right now anyway so I can't really check settings but will have a better look around when I get it back.

delete your browser cache folder, its C/System/cache. just use y browser or similar and wipe the entire folder.

also if you have google maps installed on C drive, reset it.
