How about offering a similar phone without a camera. I've been looking for a non-camera Symbian in the market and there's nothing available that's new. Seems to me that Nokia has stopped making non camera smartphones.
Nokia C5 - classic style candy bar at 135, first Cseries
C5 - interesting choice of name. Did Sir Clive help?
Nokia said, that their S60 series is able to adress many phones - form mid-class phones to high-end phones. I'm interested in a really cheap S60 device with almost no special features in it.
GPS - no
UMTS - no - GPRS is enough
Acceleration Sensor - no
Camera - perhaps a cheap one
The only thing that is important is Qt and the APIs of S60.
Java FX is completely killed - Oracle has absolutely no interest in supporting Java for small devices.
J2ME will die - iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile they don't have J2ME.
And Nokia isn't supporting J2ME because they want a strong Qt-Brand for the next years.
So where are the 70 Nokia S60 Qt devices - I need them.
