Hello! Can the 3650 read WAV GSM format? I added some ringing tones in my 3650 in this format and I assigned one to my contacts and one in my Profiles. But when that contact calls, at first, the contact personal ringing tone(WAV GSM) sounds but then, after a second, it gets cut off and the profile assigned ringing tone sounds(WAV GSM also), but it doesn't stop there. It gets cut off again and the default ringing tone (NOKIA TUNE) plays! This happens all the time. I don't understand... The recorder is able to play WAV GSM format.
When i assigned a built-in polyphonic ringing tone to a contact, everything works fine and it doesn't get cut off.
Anybody ever had this experience? On the P800 everything seems to work normally. Does anyone know of a good wav>polyphonic converter?
Weird - I can not reproduce your problem, for me it all work perfectly?
I always use wav's as ringtones, not sure if they are gsm wav's or pcm wav's
I tried to attach them here but they are too big, even when zipped.
I can upload them to our webserver tomorrow if you want them to play with, see if it's cause of pcm/gsm
Best 😊

I am helping st@rr with her configs.. I myself dont understand..
Are your wav tones on the phone or MMC media?
She has a tone assigned for me, then she has the profile in "General" activated also with an assigned wav tone. All the tones are in the 16mb MMC. The tones are in GSM 6.10 44.100khz, Mono 8kb/sec.
Everytime I try to call her, the tone for me comes on and then the profile tone comes in. Very weird. I tried putting an ordinary polyphonic tone on the general profile and for awhile it worked great, my tone would go on and stay that way... but after a few more tries there comes the mix tone again.
What we did now was I recorded a voice on her phone "Please answer the phone" 😃 And used that as a ringtone which is in AMR format and it works also.. well so far I mean.. will update you if this wil remain this way. She does have the 2.5 software already and the new blue lights on her keypads which I guess signifies that she has one of the just released units.
Hey! Cebuanos helping each other with ringtone problems. Cool!
Didn't take you long to eyeball.
does somebody know why ringing tones are VERY loud. I have converted mp3 to wav with goldwave and i send wav to my phone with pc-suite. I tryed to lower wav volume with goldwave but it doesnt help.. seems like pc-suite are making these wavs loud.
what program do you guys use for converting?
serious?
my midi files are too soft (i kno u mean wave).. but like really really soft.. in comparison to my old 8310's monophonic ringtones.
I'm complaining of my "not loud" ringtone in P800 and you complain of too loud on your 3650. :-?

Hi irving. Does your 3650 have the same problem? You're using SMART or GLOBE?
P.S there's a Pinoy thread in community waffle 😉
what program do you guys use for converting?
I'm using MusicMatch to convert mp3 to wav if I have time to convert but I'm on a rush I just use the PC suite 😃
sound is loud
ok! I'll try to convert mp3s to wav using musicmatch. Actually, i'll ask muzikfreakah to convert it for me... i'm not into that stuff! hehe! I think he's using another software to convert songs. Anyway, i'll tell him! thanks!
Hello to all pinoys!!! 😃
Actually I use cooledit pro to cut down the songs and save them as wavs then I use the built in win recorder to save the as different types of wavs. I use ADPCM for my P800 and GSM for the 3650 😊
Ooohh! l'd love to have your tools. Does that have video editing tools too?
Nope, its only for audio.. its one of thebest out there. Its what most radio stations use to make commercials. You can edit ,mp3's, wavs.. etc....
For the P800 video I just use PV author 😊
