Nokia Music Store alternative for North Americans?

Is there one? I like house and trance and I was wondering what would be the best subscription service that would work with N97 in USA. Is it compatible with iTunes? Maybe through some 3d party app/widget/something?

The N97 will sync with iTunes using the free Salling Media Sync.

You can also buy digital music from Amazon and have it load into itunes or into Windows Media Player. WMP actually syncs out of the box with Nokia music player.

You can also use the combination of Media Monkey and Amazon. While the Amazon downloader doesn't directly make Media Monkey aware of the new files, it will save them to wherever you tell it. Then when MM does it's next scan, it will pick up the new files.

Thanks!

Is there a phone app that would let me browse through music and buy it with my phone? I want previews too!

Not that I have found. It is possible you could do it using the combo of Skyfire and Amazon, but I have never been motivated to try it. The problem may be that Amazon, I think, requires the use of their downloader which is a desktop app.

Sorry I'm not more help of the download to device question.

I wonder if there is a way for Americans to subscribe to British account and somehow use money exchange and buy in British pounds?!?!
