I am having troubles connecting my 3650 phone to my pc via bluetooth. I am using MSI bluetooth, newest drivers. I can explore my public folder and send and receive files, but am unable to use either pc suite or mrouter. I attempt to make a bluetooth serial port by right clicking on the device, which results in a connection being made in COM0, and an error message follows which says that the remote device closed the connection. Anyone who can help me, via msn or with a detailed response? Thanks in advance!!

Do a quick search on this and the 7650 forum - there's loads of info on this subjet - I'm sure someone somewhere can help 😊
Basically try in mRouter ticking all the boxes for the bluetooth com ports - then in your bluetooth manager go into your phone then double click the serial connection - it WILL normally give an error, but take a look at mRouter in your sys tray - it should spark into life - double click it and see which com port it actually connects on and untick the others 😉
If that does not work - as I say, do a quick search as there is loads of info, but that method worked for me 😊

aktivate every bt port on mrouter. i have also get the message with com0 and i can use now com4. if u selekt EVERY on one there will be prompt CONECTET.

1.Install the PC Suite
2.From the phone find your pc and pair. Have to enter passcode on phone and then your pc will prompt you for the same passcode.
3. Select a port on mrouter, usually from com2 onwards.
4. After that, right click on the bluetooth icon on the right of the taskbar. Bluetooth Serial Port->Your Cellphone.
5.You should see a message box on the pc saying creating connection etc..
I had big problems getting this thing to work. But now it works beuatifully. The trick is to leave everything at default. And not to mess with the setup or bringing up the my bluetooth places explorer window.
