ever since changing from normal slide up phone to nokia 5800 im in fear of looking at my phone to see if ive rang someone without nowing as its happened a few times and caused a lot of embarrassment, so simple the slide phone thats cancels all while putting it away, instead of having to cross out of everything to time consuming. somebody must agree with this.

Not sure what you're looking for here 😊 I think the little slider on the side of the 5800 works great. It disables or enables your phone really quickly. If you put down your phone it locks itself in a very short time as well. Frankly you've got to be clumsy to make unintended phone calls.
Anyway, if you don't trust these mechanisms why get a touch phone like the 5800? I had a moto rizr before this one so I understand how nice a slider is but this works too, as far as I've been able to tell.
