Not Kindle, but if you want a good quality Ebook reader try ZXReader (use Calibre to convert to text files) Fantastic free programs.
Now you can get Kiindle on Android and there is talk of windows mobile - I wonder how long it will be before we see a Symbian version of Kindle ?

That is runnable by N97 ? Forever I would think.
If there is any work on such a version (and given the absence of any major new service app on Symbian for months there probably isn't at the moment) then it will be being programmed in Qt I 100% assume (unless they've lost the plot) and the N97 can't handle the Qt libraries and run anything because of poo hardware.
Thanks Snolake
I was really vey keen about Kindle because has a avid ebook user - lately I have been really frustrated by the lack of new books available (in the UK\outside the USA) in other formats - I thought Amazons Kindle would be above these issues.
Unfortunately (reading on the Kindle user forum) the geographical restrictions placed on ebooks are a author license issue (started \suggested Steve Job @ apple apparently - no suprise there then!) not copyright and therefore Kindle is affected geographically just the same as other ebook formats.
This means that most new best selling books including the advertised best sellers lists and many more are unavailable outside of the USA.
The few new release format available in the Uk primarily seem to be in adobe epub format which is useless for mobile symbian devices (I do not know of any symbian pdf reader which includes drm content).Certainly the qucikoffice\adobe reader I use is useless for page saving \bookmarking etc)
All this will do will encourage people to aquire pirate copies - if nothing else buying the epub books at a premium (a lot of ebooks are more expensive because the discount structure for retailers like amazon is more restricted than hard copy) - removing DRM and then converting.
For someone - like me - who loves the convienience of ebooks but also just wants to buy\read books this also seems a long way around compared to simply buying the cheaper hard copy at the local bookshop.
Rant over! - Kindle is officially off my app wish list - thanks again
