Nokia Conversations release "Design by Community"

Nokia have opened a crowd sourcing initiative, "Design by Community", to find out what form customers would like future Nokia phones to take. Each week, members of the public can vote on different aspects of mobile phone design. See below for all the details and links.

I see the idea, but what they are going to get is the opinion of the less than 0.001% of potential phone buyers that have a mind to look at Conversations. These are likely to have different preferences than normal people. If Nokia want to know what the conversations people want, they can just read the forums.

There's an opportunity coming up for the rabid xenonites to put their case when it's camera time!

I think its a good effort, but instead of restricting it to Nokia Conversations, it should be available more openly to the public for voting. Conversations will have more techno and geek kinda crowd and their opinions may not always comply with what the general people want

It's not about what people want, but what people are willing to loose.
