Is it possible to switch in a "always flip-open-mode" (=PDA-Mode), even when the flip is closed? I prefer the PDA-mode and would use the flip only as protection.

Maybe enable virtual flip even while flip is on?? May do the trick.
It wont work because it automatically disables it when you close the flip.
Look at the flip hinges, there is a little button down there that is depressed by a plastic square on the flip....... you could cut that plastic bit off.
