Speeddial

Hi all,

Getting a bit more comfortable with the phone - my experiment with the virtual flip almost had me sending the phone back. It may be a little heavier and not look quite as nice with the flip on, but it is SO much easier to use.

Just a quick question, I've assigned most of my speeddials, and changed speeddial 2 to a new number, but it won't save it, regardless of which contact I use. Weird huh? Anyone else come across this?

Anyone won at chess yet? 😊

Jamie

Welcome to the World of speeddial corruption.

You are not alone.

The best thing you can do is restore your phone 😊

You've got to be kidding me? That is an appalling bug from SE. Is it not fixed in the newest software?

My phone came with 1.1.0, but I believe that is the same as 1.1.1 anyway.

Wish I was, but im not.. click on the above links to see how it happend. I learned it the hardway. Never edit the numbers of people who are in your speed dial, remove them first if you want to edit them then just add them back after.

Some people have been lucky and found that the speeddial entry removed itself.

There is however definitely a bug where the speeddial can become corrupted. If you try to add an entry, are presented with the Contact list, and when you click on an icon it pauses before returning you back to the Empty entry, then - you have the bug. 😞

I fixed mine by formatting the internal disk - I couldn't see any other way of fixing it.
