the nokia site now has a video recorder available to download, it is by Hantro who made the T-Mobile one but this is in English and records sound as well. It is listed as being for the 3650 but I have installed onto my 7650 and it is fine...

No it doesn't, it uses a format called 3gp which is apparently the official format for multimedia messaging that will be used by the new 3g networks.
A version is available specifically for the 7650 now from nokia, this one will recognise videos in your inbox and load them from there, although the 3650 version worked on a 7650, the inbox recognition was built into the 3650 release of the OS and therefore would not work on the 7650 (only playing with in the softwares own storage folder)
