Hiya,
I have quite a few problems with my Nokia N97 mini... It's the second N97 i've got now, the first one broke down after only just one week.
First of all, i bought this phone with vodafone settings, but now i'm on O2. Normally you get the settings from O2 automatically on your phone. I never got them.
So i cant use the internet =/ Furthermore i cant send MMS at all...
Now again i'm not even able to send sms messages.. it says "resend at ..." but this never happens!!
I'm getting really fed up now!
Please peeps can you help???
Thanks, kristin
This is how I get my settings from o2:
Go to Applications and find an icon that looks like a sim card with a red box on it, labelled "O2".
Open it and select "Get Settings" at the bottom of the list.
A request is sent to o2 and you should get your settings within seconds.
Save them, and enjoy.
I tried both of it but its not working..
When I go to "Get settings" i get a reply saying
'O2. Sorry. We have problems dealing with your request for settings...'
In fact i cant use this phone now as it wont let me use internet or send messages... Am I the only one having those problems? =/
Anyway thanks for your help guys..
Could it be that your phone is "locked" to Vodafone?
Ooooh problem 1 is solved.. I can send text messages again.
Had to reset my phone with *#7370# and lock code 12345..
unfortunately everything I saved on my phone is gone :@
lets hope i dont have to reset it like every 10 days now...

Send a free SMS to shortcode 2020, with the word ACTIVE inside. You will receive your O2 settings within a couple of minutes.
You will then have to go into Messaging->Options->Settings->Multimedia Messages and set Access Point in Use to use the O2 MMS connection.
You should also go into Settings->Connectivity->Destinations->Internet and ensure that the O2 WAP connection is ordered with a higher priority (nearer the top of the list) than any Vodafone connection.
Hope this helps
