Does anybody know a method to autostart an application? It would be nice to have important tools such as Switcher and Handy Day automatically loaded - especially as they reconfigure the keys and one gets used to just press the keys ...
Freeing memory with Switcher stops applications that are not active (including for instance Handy Day that I would never want to stop). Is there a way of "locking" an application so Switcher wouldn't shut it down?
i dont think there is an autostart that we can handle it. infact for handy 2 at the menu and preferences you have the ability to for handy 2 to open every time you open the flip moreover you can invoke it with the blue button on the side (internet button) and whenever you are at another menu you can press the blue button and go straight to handy. switcher wont close if u dont exit the program but anycase you can always add it as a shortcut in handy 2 or the phone already built in shortcuts and use straightaway from there if u need ferther help post me
If at least the key mapping would be allways active, I wouldn't mind about pressing a key first, but unfortunately, the key mapping is only active once the application has be started. So we need to "waste" one of the quick start buttons for something that afterwards will be invoked with a hardware button, or we need to start it from the application menu for the first time.
The latest version (1.1) of BugMe! has an autostart feature. I suspect, it is done by the BugMeAut.exe in the system\programs folder. I also suspect that the file QSTART.R04 in the system\programs folder contains autostart information for the system programs. I wonder, if nobody knows the format of this file, so we could add applications to it.
