Orange 'Your Account' problems

Hi all; some of you may know that I'm a journalist, who writes for things like ComputerActive and The Register. At the moment, I'm trying to find out whether problems with the 'Your account' section of the Orange website are just me, or indicative of a wider issue.

If you've been experiencing problems, I'd love to hear from you.

In particular, I'm interested in discrepancies between the amounts owing on different screens.

For instance, on my own Orange account the summary sign in screen told me I owed 21.16 overdue last night; considering the bill was only issued on the 1st, that's a bit cheeky.

More curious, clicking the link to make a payment showed a screen with the amount as 0.21, while the 'view your bills link' showed a bill total of -112.78 for the April 1st bill.

All rather confusing, especially since only three days ago (and with a bank holiday in between, there's been no money going anywhere) the overdue amount was shown as 133.94, the amount on the payment screen as 1.34, and the amount on the actual bill 21.16

As far as I can see, this is pretty confusing for people, and at the very least indicative of a problem in the Your Account pages; I don't pay by direct debit, so I have no idea where they get the figures for that from.

If any AAS readers have similar experiences, please do let me know, via PM here, nigelwUK on Twitter, or email - nigel @ nigelwhitfield.com

Thanks,

Nigel.
