Thats very cool shame there's no recent Nokia worth buying this for. I imagine it would snap given the amount of pressure required to trigger the N86. Perfect for the N82.
It's mainly for video taking, of course. Using a tripod for stills is strictly semi-pro territory, I suspect! 8-)

It didn't even occur to me these would exist.
Aside from being sad no one can be bothered to make a 1/4" threaded hole so you can just mount a normal tripod, I made my own (sadly, no photo) for the N95.
It's just a block of wood, with a slot the phone fits into. A bit of duct tape to pad the phone, precise-fit and provide some tension. A poorly drilled hole accepted the tripod thread.
Took 10 minutes and no money (scrap lumber) to make.
Unfortunately it is only available in Europe. Steve, is there anyway i can get it from Malaysia?
In this situation, why not just use a proper camera?
