GPS and incoming calls.

Ive got a mini and the Beta 3,04 Maps. Yesterday I used the GPS for the first time drivin in an unknown city. It worked great all the way but at one time I got a call and the GPS naturally stopped. After the call I restarted the GPS with the search and everything. I didnt think of checking running programs. Is the GPS still running after a call so that you can pick it up again without a total restart. Whats the smoothest way?

it should be running in the background and resume once your call is done, unless you had a moment of low memory resources, and the maps closed itself

I was using my mini last week for turn by turn and a call came in. While I was talking to someone on the phone the turn by turn kept giving instructions via the earphone (it was previously on speaker). I could hear the directions but the other party could not.

Once I hung up from the call the turn by turn directions went back to speaker.
