Vodafone Firmware on N97 Mini

Hi,

I have recently purchased an N97 Mini from eBay. The phone is unlocked but has a Vodafone firmware build.

I am about to start setting up the phone with all the third party apps I want but I am wondering whether I should debrand and update to EURO1 firmware first.

Does the Vodafone firmware have any limitations compared to the latest EURO1?

If it helps my firmware version is 10.0.0.020

and the Vodafone custom version is 10.0.0.020.210.06, released on 14/10/2009

the only limitation you get is that updates take a few lifetimes before reaching you 😉

97 mini is on v11 now, v10 is so 2008 😃

debrand it, have a look around the site, or google it, there's tonnes of helpful sites to assist you in debranding/unlocking the phone
