Hi everybody,
I was having 6510 before my new 3650, I exported the whole 6510 data to my PC using Nokia PC Suite 4.81 (The data in MS Access format) before selling it, and now after buying the 3650, I couldn't find a way to import the data into the 3650....
Actually, I tried to do it using PC Suite 4.81 on the 3650, but it didn't recognize the mobile at all, so far so logical, but the un-logical thing is to miss the Import Data From PC to Phone option in the Nokia 3650 PC Suite.
Any idea ????????????????????
Thanks .................[/b]
Nokia 3650 PC Suite has this "Data Import" function. Download and install the Nokia 3650 PC Suite from http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,5184,5341,00.html

PcSuite is searching your old mobile....
it takes via IRDA all of your contacts.....
and then it says give me now your 3650.......
So if you don't have your old mobile i don't think you can do something.....
Hi all, and thankx for cooperation...
Of course I don't have my old mobile.
Shall I buy a 6510, import my old data into it, and then export it to the 3650 PC Suite !
Is this a reasonable solution !
I don't know how come Nokia people haven't realised this issue..
I'm so upset
Can you not import that database file into Outlook as contact details - then sync outlook to you 3650.
I'm sure there is something you can do, at the end of the day it's only text data, must be a way of formating it so the phone can read it from the inbox.. or Straight into the phone using PCFilmanager.
Or perhaps as a last resort, put a couple of contacts on your phone manually - back up the phone to the PC - look for the contacts file, see how the data is structured and duplicate that file with your contacts data from your old phone - replace your original file with the new and restore to phone..
When I transfered from my 7650 to 3650 I selected all my contacts and sent them as an email to the 3650 then re-saved them - you could try formating your data as .vcf files and then e-mail or infa redding them to your phone - your phone would see tham as contacts and allow you to save them...
Hope some of this helps..
If all else fails - send me the data and I'll figure out the best way of getting it on your phone, up to you, I can be trusted with your data.
Best 😊

You can just copy your sms from sim to phone, if that is what you mean. Menu->messages->options->sim-messages. Excuse me if this is not what you meant.
The guys data is on his PC - he no longer has his original phone 😊
I see this as a time for you to possibly learn the rotary style keypad of the 3650 better (ie. re-enter all data in)..
Don't worry i was in same boat; my 8310 died and i had just exported the PB to computer. but now i can type alot faster ^__^
lol yea tru puttin all tht in will make u an expert... any jokes aside cant u just send it thogh bluetooth if u hav the USB adapter as a datafile?
