I discovered a great web service that still offers the above on any type of connection - as well as a web i/face with appointments etc sent as vcals (which I really didn't expect). It's at www.myrealbox.com (don't worry - it's not a naughty site which I first thought) and is free as it's on "permanent beta". I now use it exclusively for my phone email and they haven't let me down yet. Let me know how you get on .... It's FREE :P aint it ?
FREE pop3 / imap / smtp service.
This thread included a poll: Are you using it ?
Plently of free POP3/IMAP4 emal accounts out there, I need a free GPRS or pay a fixed amount use as much as you like GPRS account in the UK :x
I voted No because GPRS service is just too expensive if you have to check your email regularly. Despite some who say it is cheap, I would rather pay a fix monthly rate than to find out from my bill that I spend too much.
