Bluetooth Headset HBH 30 now as my wireless PC headset!!

Sound quality is not that good on the HBH30 though when listening to mp3s. I used windows media player and winamp3(for winamp3 you have to go to Options>preferences>audio>direct sound> Choose output device >bluetooth headset)

It jsut figures that the HBH 30 really has terrible sound quality for any kind of sound whether it be voice calls or mp3s. Wish I had Jabra already to test it with 😞

This is a very good sign though. It means that bluetooth headsets will really be coming out soon! Goodbye to wired headsets and mics! 😊

I forgot to mention that I can also use my Latop as headset to my P800! 😊

Yes, I can leave my phone 10 meters away and talk to that person in the call through my laptops mic and speaker, I can also use my laptop to voice dial trough My phone.

But just incase heres my description of the process:

Very simple actually, all you have to do at the begenning is the usual pairing stuff. Pair your P800 with the laptop, then make sure to tick all the services you want to do withit like "Voice Gateway" which allows you to use to use your laptop as the headset. You can also pair your headset with the laptop as well and also make sure to tickk all the services like Headset.

For Laptop as a Headset:
Go to your favorite bluetooth places, click on P800 voice gateway and it should then prompt you for voice dialing. If you use it to retrieve a call you must answer that call first on the P800 then click on voice gateway then it should ove your call to the laptop speaker and mic. I have yet to test if you can answer it right away with your laptop.

For Bluetooth Headset as a headset for the laptop:

Go to my favorite bluetooth places. Click on Hbh30 headset (If you cannot find this on your bluetooth favorites, go to view all your services, right click on headset and create shortcut, it will then prompt you that it will create a shortcut on you bluetooth favorites) Then click on the headset and click on Connect, it will then connect to your headset, you will notice that your headset will ring after doing this, answer it or click the answer button on your headset. Now all the music that you pay on your PC will come out of the headset instead of the speaker 😊 Cool huh?

By the way it really didnt take that long to figure out 😊 The instructions on that other forum were pretty clear. All it took was to have the latest drivers for my BT dongle 😊 Took me about 15 mins to test everything 😊
