CAM Button not taking pics!

5 replies · 1,999 views · Started 21 March 2003

Currently I can switch to the Comunicam App by pressing the CAM button but it will not release the shutter, although the jog dial will...

anyone else suffer this problem. Apps running at the same time include Handy Day v2 and the normal 'always active ones'.

Hmmm

If I quit Handy Day the button will release the shutter!
Is this a deliberate 'feature' of the Handy Day program or perhaps a bug associated with the 'capture' of the internet button to invoke the program?!

Handy Day has a setting to assign itself to either the camera or internet button. Sounds like yours is set to camera.

Either shut handyday down or switch to it, go to the handyday menu and select "Preferences" and change it. I have mine set to the blue internet button as I use handyday a lot more than the internet.

Mine does exactly the same.
If you quit out of Handy Day then the Cam button works again.

I just had that problem recently and i didn't know that it was HandyDay 2 that was causing it. You're right BB if you quit HandyDay. Communicam button works again.

@Bassey- i don't see an option for HandyDay to use the communicam button. Only to invoke the blue internet button. Maybe it is just a bug on version 2.0

We know about this problem. Currently we are working on the new verision of Handy Day, in which this problem will be fixed. The update will be released this week and as usual will be free of charge for registered users.
