A new firmware, version 210.12.15, is now available for the Nokia E75. Yes - a shame, hopefully next time...
The update still did not address the keyboard issue. Try pressing "a" and "p" in succession quickly and the letter "g" will appear.
It's kind of odd that the Fins have sort of orphaned the E75.
It was only released in many markets just last year, and it still doesn't have the free Ovi Maps blessing of its siblings. What, I'm guessing it didn't sell as well, so the company is pretty much writing it off?
This is the new and improved Nokia. A kinder, gentler, more thoughtful Nokia. Never again will I buy a supposedly smartphone from Nokia.
This is pathetic.
Im sure Nokia sold thousands of this handset worldwide....C'mon guys...bring on the OVI maps with free nav !! We deserve it too.
I've got to report that this has worked like a dream for me. Love it.
I decided to take the plunge and reformat the E75 totally in order to implement this new firmware. Not only did it work perfectly, but my spare space on the C drive moved from 6Mb to 24Mb - brilliant! No more low memory warnings.
Nice one and thank you Nokia.
damn, this sucks. I'm having keyboard problems *after* updating. Key responses are slow now. Possible to rollback the install to the previous version?
