I have the asian/european (non-US) version of the Nokia 5800. Sometimes the writing system picks up my handwriting as some weird European symbols. Anyway to fix that?
Also, when I click on a field such as a name of a contact, a keypad doesn't show up automatically...

As a smartphone is a complicated machinery , the issues can be due to settings or accustomization . Like the handwriting adaptation of the device to the user .
Also many times a double Tap instead of a single Tap will result in the expected feature .
Have the latest firmware installed to avoid bugs of earlier software .
