Periodic pause during video recording

I wonder if anyone has this problem for N79 or other models ? When I record video, it will pause for a while, record again, pause for a while.....

I had this issue with my N95. I think it was due to an app of some kind running in the background. Couldn't figure it out so I just backed up settings & contacts then wiped it via NSU. Problem was solved but I'm sure there's a less drastic way about it.
