Hi all,
Normally, I find these things easy, but this is really annoying me now and I've spent far too much time on it, has anyone had the same issue??
I have the latest software on my phone, and the latest software on my PC (which seems to be gettign worse by the version, but thats my opinion).
I want to uninstall the current version on Maps on my Phone, the version I have is:
v3.01 09wk38 b02
Map version 0.1.23.112
I can uninstall it, and when I follow the instructions on the Nokia site, which is to just open SW Update, it does list Ovi Maps 3.3, when I click install, it just fails saying 'Results : 1 update failed'.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks in advance.
1. Check your card.
2. Maybe your system get some problem, you may reset it.
If still got the problem.Just bring it to the store, let the sales help you.
You need about 20MB+ free on C: drive for the initial installation, although the installed file is only about 8MB when installed.
You could try downloading and installing v3.04 instead from here:-

Hi,
Ironass, yes thats what I ended up doing, that worked OK, thanks.
Girrlipo, thanks for your suggestion, however you are overestimating the ability of most store staff (Vodafone), yesterday I went in there and the woman didn't even know how to get onto the Internet (press the Web button) to find out why I was having trouble getting online, so the chances of them being able to help with Maps is, well, zero?!
Thanks again.
UPDATE
Ovi Maps v3.04 has just graduated from Nokia Beta Labs.

Is it exactly the same as the 3.04 beta version, or should I update?

I cannot detect any difference from the Beta version.
