Following on from availability for the Nokia E52, now available over the air is v34 firmware for the Nokia E55 as a 620k download, a minor bug-fix update but worth grabbing anyway as it doesn't affect any of your apps or data. It's also available as a full firmware image via Nokia Software Update, but over the air is so quick that it's the way to go.

I am in the US using an unlocked E55 (UK version). Nokia is telling me the update isn't available to me yet either OTA or via Nokia Software Update. I also checked by going to http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/software-update-availability# and typing in the "CODE" # underneath my battery - still no love.
Not sure if my US-based domain is tripping Nokia up or not. Maybe they should've released the NAM version of this handset and we could have avoided all of this unpleasantness.
I really need this firmware update because the v33.002 firmware had a couple of NASTY bugs in it.
