Is Handango having problems?

I paid for and downloaded Worldmate a week or so ago. However, worldmate seemed to think my IMEI number was two numbers shorter than it actually is, so the registration key they sent me didn't work.

I've since sent them several messages asking for a new key but have heard absolutely nothing back from them. The web site is still fully functioning but the company is not.

I'm assuming, as they are a well known company, they haven't just taken my money and run (have they?).

The most annoying part is, worldmate (when I had it on trial and working) is really useful. But I can't use it at the moment despite having paid for it!

I had the same problem with handigo. I contacted MobiMate and they sent me a new registration number in 24 hours.

I had the exact same problem too. IMEI number I quoted was two digits longer than the one I received a Worldmate pass code for. I did receive an e-mail with the correct code from Mobimate Customer Support about a day after I queried it, so I am now happy.

If you detect your phone's IMEI number using the trial version of Wordmate it shows the shorter number. My copy of mobipocket also suffered the same problem. A software bug maybe in this company's products?

I also ordered WorldMate from Handango and they gave me a different key code. I suggest you contact Mobimate directly. I did and they gave me the correct code within a day

So I guess we shouldnt use the IMEI detection thingy of worldmate if we were to purchase it also. Better to look at he IMEI ourselves through the "secret place"

If you look at the website when you order it tells you NOT to give the last two digits of the IMEI
