N97- Not Vibrating

Hi, i am new to this forum, so please bear with me!
I am looking for some advice regarding how long the turnaround is from a Nokia Carepoint to Nokia repair, and finally back to the customer.
I have had since launch, 5 different N97's.
The unit that was last exchanged for me was in Sept'09, and has been great, however, over the last 5 or so days, for no apparent reason, my N97 stopped vibrating.
I performed soft and hard reset's to no avail, and after scouring the internet, i decided that a Nokia Carepoint, was the only viable option.
I visited my local carepoint in Edinburgh today, which is a CPW, and an engineer confirmed me that he had heard of this issue, however, due to the fact that the vibrating mechanism is on the 'mainboard', the unit would have to go to Nokia, for repair.
I was wondering if anybody else had experienced a similar problem, and when should i expect my handset back?
Thanks.

Hey,

I haven't had that issue with the N97 but I find that the vibrate function on it is pitiful (as you may know) as it only vibrates once and quite lightly for a text message and the lightness of the vibrate carries over to calls to so I miss a lot if my phone is on silent, which is a pain!

So when you talk to them about fixing your problem, I would appreciate it very much if you could also please ask them about increasing the level of vibration.

Thanks!
I hope you get your phone back promptly because it can be hard parting with things you are used to for undetermined amounts of time!
