i have a symbian based nokia 6124 phone and my phone is configured to store the text messages on my memory card.currently i�m using a 500mb memory card but since i�m falling short of space i want to change my memory card to 1 gb, the problem i�m facing is that although when i scan the memory card space on my phone,it shows me that certain space is used by the text messages stored on it,but when i check it through my laptop,the text messages don�t appear anywhere on the card.i have more than 1000 important texts stored on my 500 mb memory card and i want to transfer them to my new card,can anyone please help me with my problem?i would really appreciate it! thanks
Is it possible to transfer text messages from one memory card to another?
Copy the all data , including the hidden folders , of the old card to the new card on your PC .
Now the phone will recognise the new card as it was the old one .
BTW : buy a well known brand like Nokia , Sandisk etc . The 6124 is compatible with cards up to 8 GB .
