This sort of cooperation and participation by many leading companies in their own fields of expertise is what makes Symbian FAR stronger and more capable than ANY other smartphone OS out there. Even Google with Android do not have the same open policy and contributions from companies. It makes those naysayers who criticise Symbian's future just look ignorant and foolish.
Does this meen we'll finally see some way cool Japan style mobiles in the western countries? I, for one, am looking forward to my wearable, waterproof, 20 mpix hi def media center/phone/toaster.
