Handy Taskman and open apps on the N97 mini

Hi all

I'm just trying out Handy Taskman on a trial version. When I use some of the built in apps like the calendar, alarm clock or messaging, I hit 'Exit' when I'm finished. Yet the app still shows up in the 'Running Tasks' page of HT. I can then choose to specifically close them from that page and they then disappear - with a subsequent small increase in RAM.

Why do these apps still show up when I've exited them? Why do they still appear to be running and using some RAM? There's a whole host of them at startup and I get some RAM back by closing them all except for Nokia Messaging which I want running. But everything continues to work as normal, ie the clock still keeps time etc so what gives?

Cheers for any info..

Try the following:-

Open Handy Taskman > select Options > Settings > Task list... then make sure that it's set to "Running tasks" and not "Running and recent" (which I believe it is set to by default.

Hope that helps. 😃

Thanks but I've checked that and it's definitely set to Running Tasks only. What's more, all the icons have the little Symbian circle above them, presumably indicating that they're open and active.
