fax reception with scrambled pages

Hi There,

Sometimes when I receive faxes from "normal" fax machines some of the pages are scrambled so that they only display partially, or messed up like a caricature of the original.

So my question is, if I should put other preferences or just live with it... ?

Could someone with more experience please shed up some light on this!!

You could try changing the ECM (Error correction mode) settings on Fax, that might make a difference. Messaging/Tools/Accounts/Fax/Open and then on the advanced page change the setting. It's most likely a problem with the phone network not being totally crystal clear and causing drop outs.
