Hi..

I just bought 3650 and MSI bluetooth..
But I have a problem.. when I try to start "Bluetooth Serial Port"
It tries and says: "The Bluetooth Serial Port connection failed: The remote device closed the connection"..

Any tips or sollutions for this dilema?

Mine always does that - still works thou.
Look at mRouter after, it normally springs into life.
If not open mRouter and tick all the bluetooth com ports.
Double click the bluetooth serial icon again.
Watch mRouter and see which ones connects, then untick the rest.
Normally com7 or com8 I find..

May take a couple of goes - but should work.

Best 😊

Yes.. it's paired.. and I got the latest drivers for it.. still it doesn't make the serial connection.

In bluetooth manager, look at the com port properties for the serial connection on your phone.
Then look at the properties on the serial connection on your 'device' you will have 2 com ports, normally 7 & 8.

Go to mRouter and tick 7 & 8 - (or whatever yours is) you should now get a connection.

If not do as I said before, tick them all, then double click the serial connection for your phone in bluetooth manager, you will still get the error message but mRouter will connect..

Best 😊

ok.. now it works..
I had to click the bluetooth logo to activate to connection..
There should be better manuals for this 😉
oh well thx for the help 😊
