I'm looking for a simple countdown timer and stopwatch application for the Nokia E52. I've searched quite a bit and I can't find anything that's free (ideally as in freedom, but I'd settle for beer).
I checked the software section here, found nothing free. A bit of scroogling and I found Buzzer and Pocket Counter (site appears to be down). Buzzer looks ok, but it's only a timer, not a stopwatch.
These features are included in a $5 digital watch and were included in older Nokia phones. I'm struggling to understand why they're not on my brand new $300 phone! I read somewhere that there are lots of great, free timer apps around, but I'm struggling to find any.
Can you recommend any applications?

You need Handy Clock by Epocware, there is a trial version that you can download.
Handy Clock appears to cost $15 and is not available for the E52. $15 for a stopwatch? I could probably buy 5 digital watches for $15 here in Costa Rica! I'm considering spending a few dollars, but even then, I'm loathed to get into the whole world of "paid for" software for something as simple and basic as a stopwatch or a timer.
jApi NL, thanks for the recommendation, that application seems to work fine for simple timing requirements. It has both a stopwatch and a countdown timer, which is great. I also found a nice stopwatch while searching for chronometer, but it doesn't have the countdown function. Ok, I can finally time eggs on my phone... 😊
