5230 software updates

Is it possible to update all the software on the 5230 through the ovi suite? as it looks like it only checks to the firmware and does not update the apps on the phone like maps or etc.

Or is there another way to update the phone software without downloading the updates through the phone itself.

I've been trying to update a t-mobile 5230 over WAP, using the server settings given here http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/faq However, I get a 'server not responding' error when I do this - selecting the Nokia server to update through.

I was careful to avoid errors when entering the server details. Now, when I click on 'server profiles' to check, the nokia server doesn't appear. However, this server is an option to update through and when I try to create a new server with the same name I get a message that this name is already in use.

Any suggestions? I don't have a Nokia USB cable handing to update through Ovi Suite and can't see any way to do transfer the update across via bluetooth.
