Ive had my N97 for a couple of months now and yesterday it kept turning off,now i notice whenever i give it a slight thud or place it down it just turns off,does anyone have any idea what this is and how i can fix it ?

N97 keeps turning off whenever i move it
It could be that the contacts on the battery are dirty. You can check that by looking at the contacts where the battery touches the battery on the phone and see if they are dirty. To clean them, use an eraser and rub the contacts. Dirty battery contacts can cause the power to be disconnected if the battery shifts so that the dirty parts of the contacts touch.
yeah, really sounds like the connection to the battery... is it seated properly?
Either way, not supposed to be like that clearly, send it back.
