Can you decide on your favourite game in the Ovi Store?

What is your favourite game? Nokia are asking Ovi Store users that very question over on their Conversations Blog, partly because it’s a polite question to ask (especially as sales figures aren’t the same as satisfaction), but also because it’s a rather subtle way to say “look at these great games on Ovi!” Match this up with the special offer on a number of top games and you can see them building more momentum behind the store.

This probably isn't an issue for the UK or European countries but at least in Thailand, forget trying to buy anything on Ovi. Got an E71 and a 5800 XM that are filled with the free stuff but can't even imagine what a Full version of anything is like re your later article on Full vs Lite.

Using a credit card from Thailand doesn't work on Ovi. Billing through my telecoms companies isn't allowed either. Paypal? You must be kidding.

Been exchanging emails with DrJukka, apologizing for using the self signed version of Y-Browser, available at his site, as short of sending him a check, I can't pay for the software I'd prefer to pay for. As he notes. Nokia used to be king in Thailand but with it not possible to pay for Full versions of apps, why not just wait for a crack or move to a more supportive handset maker...

Full marks though to those developers who allow billing at their own sites or provide self signed apps for those willing to go that way.
