Although popular, Nokia Beta Labs have closed down support for the Nokia Conversation application. With development now at and end, they reckon that having the forum and feedback still open, but without receiving any appropriate response would “be doing a disservice” to the users. Conversation streams will be part of the Ovi Suite and feature in the upcoming N8.

Wish this was available for S60v5 phones... Would have loved it.

If only there was a fullstop there.
Conversations was one of the most important Nokia apps - look at the success of BBM. But as usual the idiots at Beta Labs messed it up. They couldn't get it to work for two years. Read this thread!:
Does anyone at Nokia even read this posted here? when all the mobile companies are going ahead, Nokia seems to be content on its decreasing share of consumers and pathetic service, like we are seeing here. its been over 3 months of conversation application not working after the last update of Nokia being released and they have bothered to do nothing about it. Applications similar to conversations are well working and are one of the core and important applications of other mobile companies and we see Nokia still struggling to make this application stable after launching it more than 2 year s before. I have already decided that E72 will be my last of Nokia products, will switch to apple/blackberry/ or HTC henceforth. suck nokia.
If there is one just ONE thing that can improve Nokia it is to close down Beta Labs and hire new programmers.
Good ones this time.
didnt Sony Ericsson have features similar to Conversations in their SMS interface of Vivaz Pro? Its also running Symbian S60v5!!
Shame on you Nokia!!
Why does it take Nokia forever to do what others can do in months? Nokia put something in beta labs long after that has become an invisible part of other systems. Conversation view is the default messaging view in every non Nokia smartphone on the planet! A few months back I was a Nokia owner and aas was my sole source of news about smartphones. Big mistake! Switching to android was like time travel. Still love the site though
just installed this on my n82 out of curiosity. utterly crap. it's over 1,5mb and it does not refresh after deleting messages. also the messages layout looks too big and unfinished.
