For months now I have been trying to get my 9290 to connect to my work network. The plan that I have in mind is to connect via modem dial-up to my LAN in order to sync IMAP folders. I could probably just use an generic (recommended) ISP internet connection and connect but don't want to open IMAP thru my firewall.
OK, with that said, the 9290 seems to make a successful connection to my dial-in modem. After inputting network password, the connection fails (server side). Error logs state that there was a bad user ID or password. I have tried EVERYTHING (different login syntax, scripts, reconfiguring network dial-in modems & authentication, etc). I AM logging in with proper credentails. I have searched serveral newsgroups and have not found much. I am at my wits end.
Has anyone heard of this issue before? Is there any software I can purchase to make this easier?
