For all the internet connectivity, software, shiny themes and applications, there is something that is eminently wonderful about a physical object. Touchnote, from the London based company of the same name, brings both of those worlds together and Ewan Spence reviews Touchnote for S60 5th Edition application here, ending up 'thoroughly recommending' it. PS. Look out for Rafe's cute kittens....

What a great idea! I'll be using this to send postcards to the family when we're abroad on holiday.

It'll be a refreshing change for the card to arrive at it's destination before we return, and I reckon should work out cheaper than getting gouged for postage.

Shame they can't do anything about the UK postage mark though..

Don't be silly, it's real crap on it's name and it's purpose.
The name of the software is FAKE, it should have been like "postcard, or postcard touch" as touchnote is a different thing and means different purpose.

Installing on the phone this crap is okay, but sun as you launch it, is asks to connect to internet and it says credit 0.0, and the app does not work with your existing pictures you own on the phone, that is CRAP application.

Installed it, and bought some credit online. This credit was not linked to my phone though, I emailed support and they emailed me back withing 24 hours requesting my IMEI number to link it to my account.
In Australia and it seemed to have forced me to buy in USD, cost $1.50 to send a post card.
Will wait and see to see if I can see my credit shows up in the app on my phone, will use it next week whilst I am on holiday..

Installed it (been waiting since ew@n's rave reviews on MIR) last week and created a card whilst I was in Italy last Friday (23rd) via the hotel Wifi. Would love to report positive experience and hope it is only a glitch but I only received a confirmation email on Mon at 16.30 and as of 17.00 Tuesday 27th no card has been delivered and as I'm now back in the country the impact is going to be a bit lost.

I have reported the problem to their helpline and one other point is that as a Vodafone subscriber the app seemed to force me (only tried it quickly the once) into paing via my Voda phone bill which was more like 2GBP for the extra credits I purchased on top of the included introductory one.

Hope this all pans out as really want to like it.
