Voice dial and BT

Dear All

To use the voice dial via BT handfree should we keep the BT option always ON or we can use Auto

In the manual it is explained what setting is necessary to use headset (or modem etc).
What is the reason to change settings? Only that an PC or something else cannot connect to your phone. Read it.

it has to be ON or DISCOVERABLE to be able to make an outgoing call.

It can be in AUTO if you are not making an outgoing & will just receive or just waiting for an incoming call.
